Invited by Asia Society Hong Kong Center, I gave a talk in the film screening of Marina Abramović‘s The Artist is Present.
The talk titled Performing Intimacy as Negotiation of Cultural Politics was moderated by Joyce Wong, Assistant Curator of Asia Society Hong Kong Center. I discussed about my experience of sitting with Marina Abramović at her retrospective exhibition at Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, USA, 2010, and some work inspired by that experience.
